The Breast Wellness Centre is a specialised radiology practice focused on the early detection of breast cancer and osteoporosis.

The practice is staffed by a highly experienced and skilled medical team of doctors and mammography radiographers who, together with state of the art imaging and diagnostic technology, provide superior services and patient care.

Our philosophy focuses on a holistic patient-centred approach and management. We understand the stress, fear and confusion surrounding the diagnosis of cancer and pride ourselves on being compassionate, caring and supportive of patients and their families. Our role in breast cancer detection does not end there, as we provide guidance and assistance with referrals to specialists in the field and, through our multidisciplinary meetings, ensure that our patients get the very best and most up-to-date management, based on international standards and guidelines.

The Breast Wellness Centre has been in practice for over 15 years. Formerly known as Dr Lipschitz and Associates, it has been at the forefront of breast imaging in South Africa being first in the country to introduce digital mammography and later Tomosynthesis (3D mammography).

The Breast Wellness Centre charges Discovery medical aid rates and accepts most medical aid schemes in the country. The Breast Wellness Centre has two branches with one at Linksfield and the other at Sunninghill Netcare Hospital.
