The Linksfield breast cancer MDM (Multidisciplinary Unit Meeting) was established by Dr Lipschitz and Dr Malek in 2016. It is a weekly meeting attended by leading experts in the field of breast cancer including radiologists, mammographic radiographers, pathologists, breast surgeons, plastic reconstructive surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and geneticists.

MDMs provide a platform for the various disciplines to discuss individual cases, ensuring high-quality, patient-centred treatment and management, whilst adhering to the highest international recommended standards of care.

MDMs are now considered standard practice in leading medical centres across the globe.
